Our extensive site menu includes 50 amp, pull thrus, oceanside, oceanview, forested, riverside, full service, partial or no service, 'nose in first' sites for motorhomes to take advantage of the view, wi-fi, sunny or shady sites, even blue, green or yellow sites. This is a big beautiful property with lots to do. The Living Forest features miles of walking on paved roads or quiet trails, bicycling, paddling, swimming in the amazing Nanaimo River, birding, basketball, bocce, a games room, beach volleyball, the list goes on. We offer truly incredible camping, naturally!

and the park is in the perfect location on Nanaimo's southern
edge overlooking the harbour. It's only a 5 minute walk to
shopping and buses, an 8 minute drive to the city centre,
and a 12 minute drive to ferries, but when you're here
you feel like you're in another world, away from everything.

Nanaimo's central Island location makes the Living Forest perfect base camp to explore the hundreds of Vancouver Island attractions awaiting you, knowing you'll have a fabulous site welcoming you each evening to relax and unwind. This is civilized camping. Beautiful clean showers, flush toilets, tile floors and pristine city water from the same mountain lakes that feed the river that flows past the park.
